The Discovery Flights have the least lasting appeal imo. They also introduced me to new airports I wouldn’t have otherwise discovered. I don’t always see the logic in how they want you to approach the airport but I’ve completed them all and replay them as a distraction from time to time. It seems i cannot download FLIGHT anymore, which is a shame. It would have been so nice if devs would designate bushflying areas were you could fly missions like in FLIGHT. The whole bushflying thing in FS 2020 is pre determinated and that is a shame. And i miss that adventure component in FS 2020. Flight wise it was a LOT harder than FS 2020. First doing some fly overs to actually see the conditions and boy…too many times i had to go around or even crashed. What i really liked about FLIGHT was that it could be though! I had tiny landing strips on mountain sides with my plane fully loaded. Once completed you would rank up in skill and transport would become more heavy and more diverse. Those missions were to transport goods or humans from location A to B. The fun thing was: you clicked an airport and a list would show with all kind of missions. The flying area was bound to a few locations as Hawai and Alaska. For those who are not aware: Microsoft created a flightsimulator called FLIGHT.
